Technology and professional expertise in the service of health
The Group of medical institutions at the forefront for Piedmont, Liguria and Lombardy. Technologies of excellence and collaborations with the best specialist doctors, to offer you the best in diagnostics, prevention and rehabilitation.
The time-honoured Group of excellence
The CIDIMU Group of Institutes was born in Turin in 1982 with the purpose of developing ultrasound diagnostics which at the time where little known and far from the current sophistication and importance.
CIDIMU is given special credit for introducing and promoting Doppler Colour Flow Imaging in Turin and Piedmont, a technology that combines the morphological information of ultrasound imaging with the hemodynamic one of Doppler imaging. Thanks to the integration of these two data, Doppler Colour Flow Imaging has allowed ultrasound to become one of the most formidable diagnostic tools currently available in medicine.
The vocation to invest in technologies of excellence to offer an advanced service to its patients, has always characterized the Group and continues to be one of its commitments and distinctive values.
High specialization in diagnostics and rehabilitation
The Group is present with several Medical Institutes in Piedmont, Liguria and Lombardy. In addition to Diagnostics, several Institutes offer services in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation.
Of particular importance in this context is the IRR Rehabilitation Institute in Turin, accredited by the International Federation of Sports Medicine. The IRR has received the prestigious international certification of "Collaborating Centre" conferred only 4 institutes in Italy and 24 in the world. The Institute consists of more than 2,200 square meters of new architectural design, featuring a salt water indoor rehabilitation swimming pool, an outdoor running track (on the roof of the Institute) and advanced technologies in the field of rehabilitation and physiotherapy.
The Group is in continuous growth and expansion, to bring its excellence in diagnostics and prevention to ever more patients throughout Italy’s North West.
